Dance with Me Baby! (Ages 18 mo.-3)

A movement class for toddlers and their caregivers. Each class is geared towards stimulating your child's mind through both song and dance. Clap, stretch, follow the leader, freeze dance and boogie with new friends. Dress code: ballet slippers, dance wear. Available at studio for purchase.

Pre-Dance (Ages 3-4)

This is an exciting class that incorporates and introduction to spacial awareness and basic dance positions with dynamic and ‘game-like’ exercises to exhilarating music and rhythms. Our imaginations run wild with improvisational exercises and the use of props to encourage the development of confidence and body awareness. Each session has a different theme and will touch on different genres each time such as; Jazz, Ballet, and Tumbling. Our goal is to provide the most dynamic dance experience for our students and to delight their senses through the exploration of movement in dance. Dress code: ballet slippers, leotards or dance wear. Available at studio for purchase.

Kinder-Dance (Ages 4-5)

This class is the perfect way to introduce your little one to dance because we offer the basics in Jazz, Ballet, and Tumbling techniques all wrapped up in fun exercises focused on inspiring imagination, improvisations, and using props like butterfly wings, ribbons, scarves and more. Musicality is learned through counting and clapping fun rhythms. Children explore jazz, tumbling, creative movement, and basic listening skills, using dance activities and dance characters like "Chasse' the Chipmunk". Dress code: ballet slippers, leotards or dance wear. Available at studio for purchase.

Kinder-Tap (Ages 3-5)

This introduction to tap is designed to give your child a taste of tap, rhythm, musicality, and basic listening skills. Please read description of tap below. Dress code: tan tap shoes, leotards or dance wear, hair up. Available at studio for purchase.

Jazz/Ballet Combo (Ages 6-8)

This class is designed to give our 6-8 year olds a taste of our most popular jazz and ballet classes all combined in one. Please refer to the jazz and ballet descriptions below. Dress code: tan jazz shoes, leotards, hair up. Available at studio for purchase.

Jazz (Ages 5-18)

A highly energetic and athletic style of the dance arts. Much of the music is kid-friendly with a variety of dance style ages used to develop a well-rounded dancer. Movement and technical vocabulary are used to increase the students understanding of Jazz and its uniqueness an importance to their dance training. This style of dance is one of the most exciting and powerful. It benefits the student in many ways as strength, agility, power, jumping, endurance and lyrical styles are incorporated into their training all of which have a strong carry-over into ballet, tap, cheerleading, acro, and hip-hop. good ballet foundation and progression in levels is important in Jazz training. Ballet (Ages 5-18)

Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. Students will learn discipline, grace, and movement, along with interpretation. Progression is gradual. The dancer will begin their classical Ballet training with introduction to Ballet. As they master the required skills, they will progress to the next level of Ballet. When the instructor feels a ballerina is ready, she will begin her pointe training. Dress code: black leotards, ballet slippers, hair up. Available for purchase at studio.

Tap (Ages 5-18)

Students interested in learning a fun, challenging, and stimulating form of dance will enjoy Tap dancing. This form of dance teaches musicality, timing, synchronization, and rapid mental response. Movement memory is stressed and advanced in tap classes. Dress code: Tan tap shoes, leotards or dance wear. Available for purchase at studio.

Hip Hop (Ages 5-18)

Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Dress code: Tan jazz shoes and comfortable clothes you can stretch. Available at studio for purchase.

Tumbling (Ages 5-up)

Tumbling is a form of gymnastics performed without props or equipment. ... While some moves in the floor routines seen in the Olympics can be considered tumbling, tumbling does not feature the same elements of formal dance associated with rhythmic gymnastics. Some sports, like cheerleading, typically use tumbling moves. Dress code: leotards. Available for purchase at studio.

Musical Theatre (Ages 5-18)

Musical theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. The story and emotional content of a musical – humor, pathos, love, anger – are communicated through words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole. Dress code: tan jazz shoes, dance wear. Available for purchase at studio.

Lyrical & Contemporary (Ages 7-up)

Both styles combine modern, jazz, and ballet. They are highly creative forms of dance allowing individual expression, building grace, control, and self-confidence. Lyrical relies on music’s verbal expression. The mature dancer who is interested in developing their movement sense and choreographic ability has unusual success here. Dress code: tan jazz shoes, leotards or dance wear. Available at studio for purchase.

Pointe/Pre Pointe (Ages 9-18)

Classes are designed for students with previous ballet training. Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles. Dress code: pointe shoes, black leotard, and hair up is required. Available for purchase at studio.
