Ages 18mo-3
A movement class for toddlers and their caregivers.
Each class introduces a different theme that will stimulate
your child's mind through both song and dance. Clap, stretch, follow
the leader, freeze dance and boogie with new friends. |

Jazz/Intro to Ballet
Ages 6-8
This class is a combination of our jazz & ballet class. This class was designed to combine the two most important dance styles into one class. Descriptions are listed below.

Jazz
Ages 9-up
The most popular type of dance, a stylistic, energetic form of dance. Its roots fcome from ballet and modern techniques and jazz music of the 1920's Jazz styles vary with the modern times and are adaptable to current popular music. Jazz classes are comprised of a warm-up, center floor exercise and stretches, progressions including turns and jumps. Technique and style through choreography are emphasized. Students will have a blast as they learn the latest jazz moves from contemporary to hip hop. The music is "HOT" the moves are "COOL" .

Ballet
Ages 9-up
In this class, students learn valuable lessons including technique and skill. Ballet is highly recommended to all students.

Tap
All Ages
"It's time to feel the rhythm." Beginning
with an introduction to sound and movement for the
young dancer, beginners will learn a very basic foundation for tap and
vocabulary through playful and creative teaching strategies. As the students
progress, they will learn the fundamental tap sounds and steps leading
to advanced rhythms and syncopation. Emphasis is placed on proper body
placement, positioning, weight shifts, clarity of tap sound and rhythms.

Pointe
Advanced
This class is offered to advanced students enrolled in at least three ballet classes a week. Must be approved by teacher before registering for class.

Dance team

Auditions for dance teams are in May. Dance teams perform routines state wide and beyond including: Wizard Halftime, Medora Musical, and Mall of America. |
Stretch and Tone
Ages 9-up
Focuses on strength training/conditioning,
breathing, alignment and flexibility. Students will learn
proper technique to achieve the most efficient and effective
workout.

Tumbling
8-up
Students will be learning
basic acrobatic skills needed to advance to a higher gymnastic
level. Students at this level will be learning stunts that range from
head stands and roundoffs to more advanced stunts such as front
and back hand springs. |
Hip-Hop 6-up
It’s urban, it’s street, it’s
diverse & forever changing! Hip-hop encompasses movement that has
elements of poppin’, lockin’ and breakin’ as well as
freestyle movement to give students the opportunity to develop
their own sense of style. |
Drill Team Technique
and Condition
A class designed for middle school and
high school students, focusing on skills and technique needed
for school drill teams. Dancers will learn the latest jumps,
turns, and combinations. |
Ballroom
You'll study the classic ballroom dances
and improve your technique in these group classes! Patterns,
techniques, and partnership will be studied in: foxtrot,
waltz, tango, rumba, cha cha, east coast swing.... and more!
